Argon is a non-flammable and is a highly inert gas which finds applications in industries requiring low reactivity with good stability such as: Lighting Industry, filling fluorescent lamps and electronic tubes. It is also used for arc welding and cutting, as well as in the production of titanium, zirconium and other metals. It is colourless, odourless, tasteless and non-toxic gas. Argon is available in both liquid and as compressed gas.
